Flawless Execution will never work with a team that cannot collaborate and communicate. Everyone instinctively knows this at a conceptual level — that the ability to work together to get something done might be the definitive competitive advantage. Awareness is a first step; however, developing a team’s competency to collaborate is hard work. Most people have worked on a dysfunctional team and have a keen awareness of what gets in the way of working together. Financial backing, the right technology, and a good business plan are tough but doable. Getting a group of people to work together for a common good is the ultimate test of a great leader. |
